The best beaches for toddlers

La Spinazza

Spinazza Beach is located just a few meters from the historic center of the ancient fishing village of Marzamemi.
In this long beach, which is mostly free, there are also several equipped lidos.
The beach and the sea are very similar to those of San Lorenzo, being its natural extension: clear sand and crystal blue sea!
The Spinazza Beach, is also within easy walking distance from the town of Marzamemi, northward, ending at Bove Marino, where the Reitani and San Lorenzo beaches follow one another.
Those who stop in Marzamemi cannot fail to spend a day at its beautiful beaches!

St. Lawrence

San Lorenzo Beach is a very charming stretch of coastline characterized by large beaches and small coves.
The fine, pale sand is washed by a crystal-clear turquoise sea with a gently sloping seabed, allowing even the youngest children to enjoy the sea in peace.
The beautiful coastline presents an unspoiled heritage of large beaches and small coves.
This beach is located just outside the boundary of the Vendicari reserve, but has the same environmental characteristics as the reserve, the natural continuation of the Vendicari beach.
The shoreline is well equipped with facilities and services that ensure days of complete bathing relaxation.
The San Lorenzo shoreline has a rocky part in the area bordered by the Vendicari Reserve, characterized by a blue sea and fantastic seabed.

Carratois

Carratois Beach, a must-see jewel with a tropical name: golden-colored sand, endless horizons with the Isle of Currents in the background, and sea that is as blue as can be.
It is a natural continuation of the beach that faces the Isle of Currents, and extends to Punto Rio.
A sort of natural swimming pool with a very shallow seabed, ideal even for small children, and to meet the cobalt blue of the deeper waters you have to swim several tens of meters out to sea.
The climatic characteristics of this stretch of coast are ideal for windsurfing, surfing and kite surfing: in fact, it is not uncommon to see a procession of colorful sails even on winter weekends.
The beach is both free and equipped with multiple lidos, surrounded by white dunes.

Grains

The Granelli shoreline is characterized by pronounced natural vegetation, in which large accumulations of natural water, called “quagmires” in the jargon, form important staging areas for migratory birds in the spring months.
The shoreline is about 3 km long.
The beach is remarkably wide, while the shoreline is characterized by a shallow seabed even at several tens of meters, is suitable for families with children.
The beach is still uncrowded even during summer periods when very few equipped lidos insist.
