Ciane River Mouth and Salt Pans Nature Reserve

The Foce del Fiume Ciane e Saline Nature Reserve is another must-see nature attraction in Syracuse. It is a protected area of great environmental importance, with a rich variety of fauna and flora, including waterfowl, fish and plants. The reserve is located in the Solarino area, a few kilometers from Syracuse, and is open to the public for guided tours and excursions.
