Hotel Celeste

Hotel Celeste was born in 1972 from an idea of Mr. Giuseppe Celeste on his return from New york,he decided to transform the meeting place in Marzamemi called “Arena” into the first and only accommodation facility in Marzamemisi.It is located just outside the seaside hamlet of Marzamemi. The village was born around the landing developed thanks to the fishing activity, much practiced even today. The tuna fishery of Marzamemi is among the most important in Sicily and dates back to the time of Arab domination. Hotel Celeste is located in Marzamemi, a place surrounded by spectacular landscapes and breathtaking views, unspoiled nature and historic architecture.
The characteristic features of Arab domination are still clearly recognizable both in the urban organization and in the architecture of the buildings, which give the seaside village of Marzamemi, a unique and magical charm with an ancient flavor.
