Cathedral of St. Nicholas
DESCRIPTION
The Cathedral of San Nicolò is the main church of Noto, located in the center of the city. It was built between 1703 and 1711, and is considered one of the best examples of Sicilian Baroque architecture. The cathedral is decorated with Baroque elements, such as stone statues, friezes and stucco decorations. Inside, you can admire frescoes by painter Giuseppe Velasco.
